Glencairn is a beautiful area situated only 3km from the award winning heritage town of Lismore in County Waterford. Leaving the main road you will amble down the avenue just 0.5km to arrive in a working farm with a spectacular 17th century original limestone farmhouse with courtyard. The property combines both history and agriculture with sweeping views across the west Waterford countryside. Situated on the banks of the river Blackwater this is a superb rustic retreat for exploring the south/south-east region. West Waterford is renowned for its salmon fishing sea angling golf sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery. The newly refurbished rooms are spacious and inviting and have been tastefully decorated all rooms have courtyard views. Our delicious breakfast is home cooked using local produce and includes very tasty home baking!
