Carver Matt / Solvent Based Two Component Floor Lacquer is suitable for sealing sport room floors, GYMs, school floors, restaurants, pubs, receptions & all types of wooden floors with high to very high traffic. The new Carver Matt / Solvent Based Two Component Floor Lacquer has superior anti scratch resistance, it is not affected by harsh chemicals and is incredibly durable. Being solvent based means that it is not suitable for sealing furniture or presses.

Carver Matt / Solvent Based Two Component Floor Lacquer – How To Use

Remove all pre-existing finishes with a professional sander. Prime the floor with a solvent based floor primer to seal the wood and reduce absorption. Mix the hardener with the lacquer 1 to 1. Allow about 10 minutes to bond and then start applying the sealer. Use a varnishing brush to lacquer all narrow areas and areas around the edges and then use a varnishing roller to lacquer the larger areas. Allow 2-3 hours to dry and then do the last coat. Make sure to work in well ventilated areas and do not smoke or use a naked flame around the lacquer.
