Kilkenny Violin Studio g43N3s6WabK9fOPWix8f-0fEtG4 The Kilkenny Violin Studio was founded by Carl Rochford in 2012 for the sole purpose of teaching the violin to children of Kilkenny and the surrounding to a high standard. All pupils of all ages (even beginners) participate regularly in public recitals and all advanced students participate in Master Classes every year. This is vital for confidence building performance development and stage presence. Carl firmly believes in a teaching approach that brings out the musical potential in each individual pupil and places 'musical development' at the centre of his teaching. The Violin Studio presently has in excess of 50 violin pupils. The Violin Studio also prepares pupils for the A.B.R.S.M exam system (Grades 1-8) and the Exams take place at the Studio. Leaving and Junior Certificate practical exams are prepared at the studio and we also accompany for these exams.
