Westport Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned international golf course architects Fred Hawtree and Sons situated in Mayo in the west of Ireland. It is owned and run by its members. The club aims to promote and develop a relaxed environment in which recreational and competitive golf can be enjoyed by all. In addition it provides a key amenity to Westport town voted by Irish Times readers as “the best small town in Ireland in which to live.” Dr. Maureen Gaffney adjudicator described Westport as “a place of such quiet civilisation a little gem of a town glowing with colour – and not a single piece of litter”.
